Starbucks Acquires Teavana

     After reading about Starbucks' recent acquisition of Teavana, I have to commend them for the great business move. I'm not a fan of either of them but the rising popularity of Teavana in combination with the already large consumer base of Starbucks will surely lead to a surge in revenues for Starbucks. Not only is Starbucks opening up its beverage options with the acquisition of Teavana, but it also opens the door to selling more merchandise (tea accessories including pots, cups, special tea grinds), which Starbucks hasn't been known to do.
